Air Transport Bubble –agreement
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, India continues to impose restrictions on international travel to and from India. The Indian authorities have established air transport bubbles, where it allows air travel to and from selected countries on specified routes. The agreement between India and Finland allows Finnair to carry customers to and from India via Helsinki only from the EU/Schengen area, South America and Africa. More information is available here.
If you are travelling to or from countries which are not included in the agreement, we will unfortunately not be able to accept you on board and offering you an alternative flight is challenging. Due to current restrictions set by the Indian authorities, the flight ticket sales to and from Delhi via Helsinki has been suspended for time being on routes which do not allow travel via Helsinki.
The air transport bubble –agreement is in place until 27 March 2022. If your flight has been affected, we will contact you regarding your reservation.
