Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my own child seat or car seat?

If your child is under 2 years and you have reserved him/her a seat on the plane, he or she may travel with an age-appropriate infant seat or infant car seat. You must obtain confirmation from Finnair first by contacting our customer service.

If you are travelling with a baby or a child, in addition to the free checked baggage allowance in his/her ticket, you can bring at no extra charge one fully-collapsible pushchair/stroller and one safety seat. Safety seats may be taken into the cabin, space and safety regulations permitting.

When traveling without an infant, baby carriage/pushchair/car seat is counted to your baggage allowance and you may need to purchase an extra piece of baggage.
