US Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA) prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in air travel and applies to carriers operating flights to and from the USA.
The United States Department of Transportation has published a document called the Bill of Rights for travellers with disabilities. It describes the fundamental rights of air travellers with disabilities under the Air Carrier Access Act and its implementing regulation, 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 382.
If you have a disability, our staff is available to support you throughout your journey. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask any ground or cabin crew member for help.
If you experience an issue for example with the assistance service, your wheelchair or other mobility aid during your journey to or from the USA with Finnair, you have the right to speak with a Complaint Resolution Official (CRO). CROs are available at any time during our operations, and our staff will connect you with one upon request.
If you need to make a complaint or your mobility aid is mishandled, you can submit a complaint using this feedback form.
