Missing Avios from flights and services

Did you forget to add your Finnair Plus membership details in your flight booking before the flight, or show your membership card when using a service with a Finnair Plus partner? We have good news for you: you can claim Avios for those flights and services for up to six months afterwards.

Claim Avios for flights

You can use the Claim missing Avios form to add Avios retroactively for Finnair flights (AY flight code) and scheduled flights with our partner airlines if you were a Finnair Plus member at the time of travel.

  • Please make your claim between two weeks and six months after the flight.
  • Avios for Finnair flights will show up in your transaction history within 24 hours if you are logged in to your Finnair Plus account when filling in the form. If you do not log in, it may take 1–2 weeks before the Avios are registered to your account.
  • With partner airlines, Avios will be added to your account in 2–4 weeks.
  • You can only collect Avios to one frequent flyer programme at a time.
  • Avios cannot be awarded for tickets for children under two years.
  • Please note that we are not handling missing Avios requests through customer service channels (phone/email/chat). Please use the missing Avios form.

Claim Avios for partner services

You can claim missing Avios for services you have purchased from the Finnair Plus partners, such as hotels and car rental companies, for up to six months afterwards.

Hotels

For hotel bookings, you can make the claim between three weeks and six months after the stay. 

Please note that you cannot collect Avios from special offers or bookings made through a third-party service (such as Hotels.com and Expedia). Only the reservations made via the hotel’s own website, reservation service or directly at the hotel with the regular fare are eligible for Avios. All fare types do not entitle to Avios.

Scandic hotels

You can claim missing Avios for hotel stays at Scandic hotels through Scandic's own missing points form.

Other partner hotels

For all other hotels, please use our Claim missing Avios form. Remember to add a copy of the receipt to the claim.

Car rental companies

You can claim missing Avios for car rentals retroactively through the car rental companies' own online services.

Please note that Avios may not be granted for selected special offers.

Other services

You can use the Claim missing Avios form to make a request for adding Avios retroactively for other Finnair Plus partner services.

Exception: if you are using a Finnair Plus credit card and Avios are not registered to your account, please contact the issuing bank directly.
