Finnair Plus Junior

We welcome children aged 2 to 17 to join Finnair Plus as Junior members. Membership is free of charge.

Benefits

Becoming a Finnair Plus Junior member unlocks numerous wonderful benefits. Junior members can:

Collect tier points and Avios. As an additional benefit, a Junior member's Avios don’t expire during the Junior membership.
Move up through the Finnair Plus membership tiers with tier points in the same way as other Finnair Plus members.
Take advantage of member offers.
Use Avios to redeem many kinds of valuable rewards.
Collect entries for Finnair flights in the Logbook. After ten entries, we will send a reward.
Enjoy complimentary internet connection for messaging on Finnair short-haul flights within Europe that are operated with Airbus A319, A320 and A321 aircraft. Complimentary internet connections are available when travelling on Finnair flights with AY code on a ticket.

Please note that Avios can't be transferred to a Junior account. Also, a Finnair Plus Junior account can’t be linked to a British Airways Executive Club account.

How to join

A guardian must apply for membership for a person under the age of 18. To register a Junior member for the Finnair Plus program, enter the Junior member’s details in the sign-up form. As their guardian, you’ll also need to provide your own contact details and membership number to complete the registration. Additionally, you’re responsible for the use of the Junior member’s membership number, password and Avios.

Avios don’t expire during the Junior membership

A Junior member's Avios are valid for the duration of the Junior membership. Avios can be used during the Junior membership or saved and used as a travel fund until the Junior member turns 18 years old.

Junior members’ own Logbook

A Junior member can keep track of their journeys by collecting entries for their Finnair flights in the Logbook. After reaching the milestone of ten entries, the Junior member is welcome to send us their Logbook, and we will send a small gift in return.

Membership change after 18th birthday

Finnair Plus Junior membership automatically changes to Finnair Plus membership when the member turns 18. Finnair Plus Junior member’s Avios will be valid for another 18 months after the end of the Junior membership. Avios will not expire as long as at least one transaction is made every 18 months.
