Our most important destination is the future
There is a deep human need to travel, explore the world and experience the new. Passenger and cargo traffic impact the world economy, trade and cultural relations greatly. Travel helps build deeper connections and greater understanding between people.
But there is no way around it – the current way of flying is not sustainable. Aviation emissions contribute to climate change, and we need to reduce the fossil carbon emissions of our flight operations in order to continue to benefit from the social and economic good flying brings to our lives.
It is our job at Finnair to make this happen, together with our partners. We will continue to improve our operations both in the air and on the ground to help make sure that you can keep exploring the world in the future.
There is a lot we can do together. What better place to start the journey than here on this page! Read more on our sustainability actions and find out how you can help.
