What is changing with collecting Avios and tier points from codeshare flights?

Finnair codeshare flights become spend-based. Starting from 3 June 2025, you’ll collect Avios and tier points based on the money spent on your flight ticket instead of ticket type or booking class and the distance flown. This means that you collect Avios and tier points for Finnair codeshare flights in the same way (and with the same tier-specific multipliers) as for Finnair scheduled flights purchased from us. 

The change will take effect on 3 June for the new bookings. There are no changes to Finnair codeshare flight bookings made before 3 June. For flights booked before 3 June, you will collect Avios and tier points based on the ticket type or booking class and the distance flown as before.
