Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own headphones on Finnair flights?

Yes, you can use your own headphones with the standard 3.5mm plug on all our A350 and the newly modified A330 aircraft.

Both of these aircraft types have the two-pin sockets installed in all travel classes, but no adaptor is required – you can plug your headphones into either of the jack sockets and enjoy movies and music with stereo sound.

Our in-flight entertainment system does not yet support Bluetooth headphones, but you can use them safely with your own devices.

If you don’t have suitable headphones, don’t worry. In long-haul Business Class and Premium Economy, active noise-cancelling headphones are available for you to use during the flight. In long-haul Economy Class, you will find a pair of earbuds in your seat pocket. If you decide to use the earbuds provided to you during the flight, we urge you to save them for your return flight or use them after your trip instead of throwing them away.
