Entry restrictions to Qatar on 1 November - 23 December 2022

The Qatar authorities have introduced restrictions for entering Qatar during the FIFA World Cup in Doha on 20 November - 18 December 2022.

Please note that entry restrictions are subject to change on short notice. As a traveller you are always responsible for ensuring that you fulfill the requirements of your destination and possible transit country. 

You may travel to Qatar between 1 November and 23 December 2022 if you are:

  • holding a World Cup ‘Haya’ ticket 
  • a Qatari citizen or a resident 
  • a foreign national in the possession of an entry work permit 
  • entering on humanitarian grounds (subject to approval of the concerned authorities) or 
  • transferring via Doha

Entry to Qatar of all other visitors is not permitted.
