Who should I contact if I have purchased a ticket from Qatar Airways but the flight is operated by Finnair?

Some of our Doha flights are marketed by Finnair, and some by Qatar Airways. Even though Finnair operates the flights, we have no visibility over the bookings marketed by Qatar Airways.

Below you can find instructions for the most common cases when your flight is marketed by Qatar Airways.

Special services:

If you need a wheelchair at the airport or want to take your wheelchair with you, please contact Qatar Airways directly or the travel agent where you purchased your ticket.

Unfortunately, there is no escort service available for children travelling alone.

Special meals:

If you want to book a special meal, please contact Qatar Airways directly or the travel agent where you purchased your ticket at least 24 hours before the departure of your flight.

Seats:

Qatar Airways reserves complimentary seats for its customers. Until the check-in opens, you can change your seat by contacting Qatar Airways or your travel agent.  

Once the check-in is open, you can request to change your seat at the airport check-in desk. Our cabin crew on board will also do their best to help you.  

Please note that it is not possible to buy or change seats through Finnair customer service for these flights.

Pets:

Unfortunately, it is not possible to travel with pets if you have purchased your ticket from Qatar Airways.

Special baggage, such as golf equipment:

It is not possible to pay in advance for special baggage. The baggage allowance on tickets sold by Qatar Airways is based on kilograms. If your baggage weighs more than what is allowed, please pay the additional baggage fee at the airport.

Check-in:

Please use Finnair’s check-in services, as check-in should always be done through the operating airline.
