Disruptions in baggage handling at Helsinki Airport on 3 October 2024

Several bags was left behind at Helsinki Airport.

Due to an unexpected malfunction of the baggage handling system at Helsinki Airport on 03 October, there were severe delays in handling departing baggage. Read more at Finavia webpage.

We will do our best to deliver your baggage to you as soon as possible. We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

If your baggage hasn’t arrived, please do the following:

  • Create a delay report for your baggage  online. Please remember to fill all information correctly, for example fill your first and last names to the right fields. This helps you to follow the status of your bag later.
  • You can then follow the status of your baggage through WorldTracer service, using your last name and the report number.
  • We will contact you personally to organise the delivery of your baggage, after it has arrived.
  • Please check your contact information is up to date from Manage booking.
