When and how do I check in at finnair.com?

You can check in online 36 hours prior to your departure for all Finnair-operated flights departing from Finland, and most Finnair flights departing from abroad. Please note that online check-in is not available for flights departing from Dubrovnik, Rimini, Salzburg and Split. 

For flights to the USA, online check-in opens 24 hours before departure. 

Start your check-in here with your family name and booking reference or e-ticket number. Check the booking reference or e-ticket number from your e-ticket itinerary. Enter your 6-digit booking reference (for example, Y2KP3D) and family name exactly as it is on your ticket. Please note our booking references don't contain numbers one (1) or zero (0).

Please note that depending on the destinations you are travelling to, you might need to enter passport details during the check-in process. 

If you bought your flights from a tour operator, you can start the check-in with the booking reference you received from the tour operator and your family name.
